Amanda Hogan, Computing Education Specialist, Australian Computing Academy

Amanda Hogan is a Computing Education Specialist at the ACA and the president of the ICTENSW professional association for computing teachers. She is a secondary Computing Teacher at Tara Anglican School for Girls. She has come to teaching after working in the IT industry most recently at Microsoft Australia but she's been doing this a while now. Amanda is an active tutor and content creator in the Girls Programming Network Sydney Chapter. She runs the Maths, Coding and Robotics clubs at school and is a keen programmable electronics hobbyist. In 2015, Amanda was named ICT Teacher of the Year by the ICT Educators of NSW.
